HOW DOES HE DO IT?

I can tell you how this works, in case anyone is wondering.
Take ANY 2 digit number and add the digits together. Subtract the sum from the original number and add THOSE digits together.
No matter what, it will add up to 9. Every time.
Examples:
44: 4+4=8, 44-8=36, 3+6=9 79: 7+9=16, 79-16=63, 6+3=9 65: 6+5=11, 65-11=54, 5+4=9 30: 3+0=3, 30-3=27, 2+7=9
And so on...
Oh, by the way, here's another equation for you.
